The absolute best gym for both those just starting out as well as for those with years of experience and welcoming to all.
Not many gyms around like this anymore. Old equipment, new equipment, oldschool vibe. No judgement just hard work and results. The staff is very friendly as well. Love this gym!
Best Gym hands down !!!! Great atmosphere friendly and helpful staff and you won't get yelled at for being loud or throwing weights around or just being yourself. I highly recommend this gym for anybody from beginner to Advanced also they has a big array of powerlifting equipment which most gyms do not care about.
In town from NJ. Great facility. Specialty bars. Plenty of racks platforms strongman equipment. The people could not be friendlier!
Royal Oak Gym is by far my favorite public gym in the metro area. The members at this gym come to train. I was shocked by how many times members I had never spoken to offered to help me re-rack my plates or offered to let me work in if I looked like I was waiting. No hassle, no fighting over machines. Just a bunch of friendly, serious powerlifters and bodybuilders who train with purpose. Unfortunately, I've moved far enough away where it doesn't make sense for me to train here any longer.
