Old school, clean gym with great equipment and a family feel. I was away for a few years and came back and its like coming home to family only they upgraded the hell out of the place.
I've been a member of 10+ gyms over the years, nothing even comes close to Royal Oak gym. It has everything you need and none of the things you don't. The gym provides chalk which is great and the trainers are very involved. I work out alone but have no trouble getting a spotter. I'm moving from Royal oak but considering keeping my membership. At only 20 bucks a month why not?
If you're looking to become a stronger person- mentally and physically- this is your gym. They have everything you need and more. Art, the owner, is as good as it gets. Old school power lifter who walks around the gym making sure everyone is in right form and being their best. This place is legendary!
Friendly community and just a nice gym in general. Better than most gyms in the area.
