I was travelling with my partner from East London to the West Country on Boxing Day evening, when she started to have chest pains. I diverted to the nearest hospital, which happened to be the Royal Berkshire. Despite a packed A&E, we were thankfully seen quickly as it turned out she was having a heart attack! The doctor who briefly saw us in A&E told us a cardio team had been called in and that they would fix her up.
