The cottage is lovely from the outside with a well maintained front garden. There are plenty of rooms of travelling with friends and family. Situated right beside the river but be prepared for a 20-30 minute drive off the main road to reach here. Sadly, the cottage is not well maintained. The photos look traditional. However, it is clear the furnishings are just old. There is a damp/old smell as soon as you walk in, and this permeates everything. Could be described as a bit dated furniture wise but do not let that put you off as amenities wise it has everything you could possibly need and the house is well laid out and the garden is secure for dogs washing machine drier dishwasher fridge and separate freezer 2 bathrooms both with showers 1 with bath also it really is a home from home and a great base to go anywhere in the area just 1 hour from Fort William 45 mins to Mallaig and if you time it right can be in Mull in about an hour and a half that's including the ferr... read more
