On Sept 8 2021 I paid $1288.80 for a leak to get fixed, on Sept 13. 2021 no show, On Sept 14 2021 I paid another plumber to fix that same leak. $967 and it was fixed..Roto Rooter is refusing to refund me anything. I was scammed by Roto Rooter.
Just horrible and flat out fraudulent! Im so disappointed! They literally robbed me and the work they did was a ****job! I had a sewer water clog/leak in my basement. The team came out to dry and clean everything. My floors and carpets had to be ripped out. But they left it hazardous and halfway way completed. They didnt even finish pulling out the tile and cleaning other stuff. Then I got a **** of 12k!!! And now they want to do a lien on my house.They are a disgusting business. This company is a complete joke, I wish I never used them!!! Never completed a job, then sent a technician out to collect more money, but failed to respond to calls!!!! Completely disappointed I had to hire another company that not only did a better job but were cheaper and actually understands customer service! Shame on this company for being a scam!!! Stay away, stay away!!!!!!!!!

I called at 1 pm today and told my dishwasher and garbage disposal would be installed today. It is **** and I have called multiple times for a ETA. I kept getting I just texted the technician and they will call momentarily call with an ETA ***?!?!? Its **** . Its been ******6 hours!!!!! Terrible. Had a 10am appointment scheduled days in advance. Received a call at 11 am that it would be 1 1/2 hour delay. Called at 2, was told someone would call me back, never received a call back. Called to cancel at 4:30. Dont even deserve 1 star.

I contracted with Roto-Rooter to clear drains (from the gutter to underground drain) at two properties, my home and a former home that I rent. In addition, at the rental property, I asked for a bathroom sink drain to be cleaned.The technicians performed good work at both locations. I needed a kitchen sink snaked out because of clogging. I thought a company as big as Roto Rooter would have to offer great service because of it's national reputation for cleaning drains. I was sadly mistaken. I booked service online. I requested service between 4-6pm. I received a voice mail saying they'll be there the next day between 8am-12noon. Business practice that borders on fraudulent!Had a sewer backup on a Saturday. Roto Rooter was the only company I could get to come out. The offered a "free" camera inspection afterwards. I accepted. Rather than just look for the problem, the camera guy searched for problems under slab. He never said a word about anything he found there. Then, almost 3 weeks later, he found that we had sold the house. The new buyers contacted him about the tree root problem.
