THE WORST!!!! secretaries can't make or confirm appointments accurately. Drs don't return calls. Don't even think of getting a prescription over the phone, you must be drug seeking, or go to urgent care, or make another appointment. I went to Rothman because the name is well known, what a huge mistake.

I meet another person that was ripped off by the rothman institution. He went in for a 10 minute consultation and was charged for an hour. He is a doctor and knows the codes. I got charged $1200+ for 1 x-ray and a 7 minute consultation. THIS INSTITUTE IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF. I truly believe they are trying to make up for lost revenue in 2020. If you want to throw your money in the trash then make an appointment

For starters, arrived to my appointment on time today. Got called up to the desk to be told that the referral that i had could not be from the doctor at Jefferson urgent care but instead had to be from my primary. After getting the referral from my primary physician, i was then turned away from my appointment because of it being passed the the appointment time at this point??? How ridiculous to make someone jump through all of these hoops just to be turned away and to attempt to reschedule from weeks out! I was under the imp... read more

Unfortunately, the insurance carrier dictates that referrals must come from the patient's primary care physician, otherwise, they will not cover your visit. This should have been explained to you. This is the worst treatment I’ve ever received. John S**** and his staff are a joke. I was seen by them, which is an overstatement, because they might as well have been blind. From the moment I stepped into their care I felt uneasy about the treatment I was receiving. It was cold, uneducated, left me with more questions than I came in with. I tore my ACL and meniscus and no one seemed to know how to care for it before surgery. I completely abandoned ship and had to go to NYC for treatment. Possible billing irregularity always in their favor I went to Rothman in February or March 2019 I paid approximately $700 $700! out of pocket For a prosthetic ankle support heel support. My insurance paid a couple hundred also. A couple days ago I got a bill for 47.51 from date of service March 2019. I explained I believe I paid in full and this was along time ago. The Rothman Institute is a factory. The doctors don’t actually perform any real physical exam or use any diagnostic tools except for X-rays even if YOU provide MRIs or CT scans. What?! They just don’t care nor do they spend any real time asking and answering questions or listening to you as a patient that knows your own body. They really just don’t care. Went to Rothman M****** .Was told I needed Sholder Replacement . Doctor very good and informative . Dr. told me easy operation he did Thousands . In and out the same day . I was excited to end the non stop pain . All good till I met the schedule person . Now she tells me if done as out patient Medicare will not pay for appliance ( I also have BC&BS as secondary) ! At the end of 2019 I went to Rothman Institute for extreme pain in my right hand & wrist. Saw Dr. Paul S********* who said it was a cyst on wrist & pinched nerve in the elbow. Gave me a steroid shot & told me to come back in 4 weeks. Steroid relieved pain for 1 day. Returned month later, was given another shot & told to return in 6 weeks. Unable to stand the pain for that long I called in February to schedule the surgery that he had said would get rid of the pain - release pinched nerve in right elbow even though the elbow d... read more

Place is the worst. Treat patients like cattle and employees even worse. They don’t even have any more masks or alcohol wipes for employees. Said they met their supply quota for the year. Shuffle employees around unfairly. Often work with no break or lunch. Terrible place. Terrible managers, especially at Marlton Nj location
