A lovely converted house with cosy public rooms, many original features set in grounds and easy reach of beautiful St. Agnes. No lift but my elderly parents still found it easy to get about. A comfortable, clean and well appointed ensuite bedroom. Surprisingly high quality menu for a coach holiday with perfect portions.
Hotel is quirky, our room was lacking in drawers for clothes only small bedside units. I would like to see teabags in a container and not in a dish uncovered. Room was clean beds comfortable. Food, especially breakfast was very good, but little details missing eg. Butter knife, sugar left on table during the whole 5days uncovered., glasses were dishwasher cloudy. Comfortable beds and good food. Evening entertainment excellent. Not much to see in the immediate area though.
Very friendly keenly priced accommodation which I would recommend highly as a base for anyone taking a Cornish holiday.
Tired rooms, bland reception and building materials left on show. Room was dusty.
