This placed is definitely closed. However they had not closed down their online booking systems and we made the mistake of booking and turning up to a deserted hotel when visiting the area. We received emails up to the point of arrival yesterday, telling us about our stay and welcoming us, so were a bit perplexed to find a closed down property. A shame as it looked very nice. Luckily we found another hotel not far away. Not as nice as Rosehill though.
Attended for a funeral, cremation after dinner lunch.All very well presented,would reccomend it.

Went for a meal with friends. A wonderful setting, victorian with lots of original features. Decorated beautifully for Christmas with fairy lights, foliage and a roaring fire. The service was fantastic, but the food.....just absolutely WOW. Cannot fault it, the duck starter was divine, venison main perfect (although do order sides to go with it) and the dessert was the best I have ever tasted. The rest of my group agreed on that. Definitely recommend. Lots of gluten free options on the menu too.
