My friend & I had afternoon tea which was delicious. The castle itself is absolutely stunning and was decorated beautifully for Christmas. There was even a violinist playing throughout the afternoon. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. A fabulous occasion. Our first visit and definitely not our last. Highly recommended.
Very disappointed. Took my grandchildren on an elf hunt today . Not a single elf anywhere , children ended up in tears . Went for refreshments and despite filing in a questionnaire beforehand there was nothing gluten free for eating . No water to drink . Seating for about 40 people when I think there was at least 100 attending .
Visited the Christmas Fayre today. Well organised with a good range of stalls selling local home made gifts. Building is fascinating and would have liked to have a good look around inside and outside. Well worth a visit.
