The accommodation was ok, however what has tarnished the stay was the poor experience with the host and Airbnb. Main issues: - Dirty bed linen and travel cot - Plug sockets and waist height for children to touch - A dead fly in the fridge - Faulty kitchen appliances causing the fuse to blow and the kettle wouldn’t stop boiling - There were builders next door, not communicated to us by the company who own the property. The hosts made us most welcome and the house was a good size for our family get together. The garden was a well fenced and safe for little children and pets, The house was in a residential area but only a short walk from the military canal where we had a lovely walk, could enjoy all the bird song and had a decent cup of coffee at Unit 1 along the way and could enjoy the wildlife. The house also had a ramp to the front door and a downstairs bedroom with a wet room suitable for anyone with a disability which is rare to find.
A good base for us, we enjoyed our stay there. We had to tell owners about a few things, the response was quick and I believe is being sorted. All in all I recommend Romney House.
