Had day surgery with Dr. Batsides. After attempts and cancellations finally had done on 2/21/17. Very clean and Dr and staff very polite and understanding. Dr. Batsides removed wire from previous heart surgery. He put a plate in and pulled my muscle back over the sternum. Still in quite a bit of pain but that's to be expected. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful doctor and the staff in day surgery is amazing
Hands down they is the best.i was there o'most 2years ago and they meaning the doctors at RWJ.SAVED MY LIFE.
We had a pediatric emergency and the staff at RWJ were extremely professional and accommodating to my son. We are very grateful for the services RWJ provided to us.
Robert Wood Johnson is a professional, caring and amazing health center. People make feel patients comfortable as well as welcomed. My cousin received a heart transplant and the entire staff treated him with passion and dedication. I selected all my medical doctors at RWJ. God bless the whole staff. Is the best hospital in the nation.
Unfriendly customer service and security! Very poor markings and directions! Inattentive nursing floor staff , lack of communication on patient status to patients!

Worst experience of my life. Had lumbar spine surgery...the dr never spoke to me before surgery and no one went out to tell my family when surgery was over....being a very high risk patient this was very upsetting. After the surgery there were no rooms available so I was put into a holding recovery room that was a combination supply room and cattle room...we were all packed in so tight that the nurses couldn't even stand on the side of the bed. I will never step foot in that hospital again and do not recommend it to anyone!!
As a resident physician myself and employee of this hospital I am disheartened by the poor communication between the emergency department, bed board and nursing staff, medication errors and near misses , lack of appropriate medical supplies and difficulty locating them, unsanitary food services issues and overall poor quality of my husbands patient care experience. I have spoken to two nursing supervisors in the past 24hrs and "Sorry" is just unacceptable. I have not left my husbands side in the past 24hrs for any more than ... read more
