I have been visiting Mr Parslow now for quite a few years and he gives a brilliant service and is very thorough and professional in his work. UPDATE : From a letter recieved here, Mr Parslow retired from his business in Bridgend on Monday 31st October 2022. It is not known if anyone else is taking over at the business address (???)
Mr Parslow has been a caring and devoted optician to my mother Margaret for decades. As she entered her 90s, he would visit her at home for her eye tests. She looked forward to his visits enormously, not just for the eye test but also for shared tales of her native Ireland. He went well beyond the call of duty when she had to move to a care home three years ago, and supported her when her eyesight started to deteriorate further.
