Dr Mayle is everything you could ask for in a physician, and then some. Besides being a skilled surgeon, he is compassionate, encouraging, and thoughtful. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and provides clear, direct answers to your questions. I am so grateful that Dr. Mayle was my surgeon and that he performed my hip replacement at Novato Community Hospital. The entire experience exceeded my expectations. Four months post-op and I am happily hiking the hills again!
I can not name a better, kinder, more thorough clinician than Dr. Mayle. He has performed a total hip and total knee replacement on me and I am better than ever. I can run again - I did the PT he suggested and had NO ISSUES with his post-surgery. No pain, no after effects of general anesthesia since he did these surgeries with a spinal and local. My visits were always on time. Initially I was interviewed by a medical assistant who knew why I was there and asked appropriate question and took notes on my answers. Dr. Mayle had already reviewed any pertinent testing and presented his diagnosis with as much detail as I requested. He is very personable and his presentation of information and suggested conclusions create a sense of thoroughness, competency and trust.
Dr. Mayle is a thoughtful, skilled and compassionate healer. Although those might not be adjectives normally associated with orthopedic surgeons, it’s what makes him so outstanding. The result is an easier, faster and successful recovery and return to full function. You cannot make a wiser choice.
Dr Mayle performed both my knee replacement surgeries. He’s a very attentive doctor, he listens and provided very knowledgeable advice. He bedside manner are exceptional.
I had the opportunity to meet Dr Mayle. His caring, kindness and efficiency. He took his time to explain the path forward, which I had none. I was more than afraid and confused. I left his office feeling great and can hardly wait for my next visit. Dr Mayle team represents his values. A Dr that listen explains and addressed my situation.
Within 13 months I had a knee replacement and then a hip replacement by Dr Mayle. I can now walk without a limp and my legs are straight for the first time. I researched many orthopedic surgeons before deciding on Dr Mayle , who came highly recommended. My physical therapists both said they had seen the results of his work and they, like me, were so impressed: Quick recovery and excellent results! And he certainly is a lovely human being.
I was moving without crutches or cane in 2 weeks. By 4 weeks I could almost forget I had surgery! Dr Mayle is talented, kind and I would definitely recommend to everyone
No regrets at all. He performed anterior bilateral hip replacement five years ago and I have had zero issues with my hips. Follow his orders for therapy and you will do great. I was back to work within three weeks.
