I can walk without a cane again!
Dr. Mayle was recommended to me for a hip replacement by the surgeon who repaired my shoulder. Dr. Mayle has done almost 2,000 hip replacements and I could not have been happier with my own. From the sterility protocol to the pain management, in addition to the textbook surgical replacement, I was completely satisfied with Dr. Mayle's work. According to my X-ray, I may have another one coming up in a couple of years. If so, Dr. Mayle will be my doctor.
Dr. Mayle is an amazing surgeon and lovely human being! He’s given me a new hip and a new knee - and a new lease on life. It’s always a pleasure to see him, he’s thoughtful and thorough in answering all of my questions and explains complicated issues and procedures very clearly. I recommend him all the time and when his name comes up with other doctors in town, everyone always speaks highly of him. He’s considered one of the best surgeons in the Bay Area - rightfully so, in my experience!
Listened and explained the issue
Dr. Mayle has always been so positive and reassuring at each visit before and after my surgery. I always felt safe and in good hands. He's obviously a top-notch surgeon and also has a wonderful bedside manner, which is so very important as well. He's kind and compassionate and takes time to answer all questions. He's very down to earth...all around good human! I so appreciate that. I will continue to refer friends and family to him!
Dr Mayle was great , professional and knowledgeable. Recommended not to get surgery at this point for my knee but try less invasive treatments that for now are working. I appreciated him not rushing into surgery. I would recommend him to anyone who needs orthopedic help.

You couldn't have a more prepared Dr. Did a hip revision that was done by other doctors that didn't hold kept popping out, it's been over a year and hip doing great. Next up is my knees and have all the confidence in Dr. Mayle. He did my wife's knee and she's doing great.
The procedure that Dr. Mayle and his team provided worked exactly as they had assured me it would. By following the recommended protocol, I am on a good path to recovery.
