I am very thankful to have received care from Dr. Mayle and his team for my much needed hip replacement surgery. The nurses and therapists at Mission Bernal hospital could also not have been more professional and helpful. Less than a week away from surgery I feel I am already walking more upright , more normally,, with less pain.
Dr. Mayle seems to care deeply for his patients, & he has assembled an excellent team.
Hip surgery went very well. Very glad Dr. Mayle was my surgeon. His team is very efficient so I felt well prepared. Two months later after faithfully doing my physical therapy, I am back in yoga class plus walking well.
He is personable, caring, has great judgment and an excellent surgeon. What more could you ask for!?!
Sometimes a simple handshake these days means more than you think. I've been resisting a hip replacement for 3 years now and each component of that hesitancy was covered. Dr Mayle and his team have allayed those issues. I know I'm in good hands.
Dr. Mayle has a pleasant manner, and was kind to me during a stressful time. Coming to my hospital room the next morning after surgery, he took the time to discuss the particulars of my individual surgery, and give me lots of details. I appreciated that. I am fully satisfied that he has performed a high quality surgery, and I am grateful to him for his skills, and his humanity.

Dr Mayle is everything you could ask for in a physician, and then some. Besides being a skilled surgeon, he is compassionate, encouraging, and thoughtful. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and provides clear, direct answers to your questions. I am so grateful that Dr. Mayle was my surgeon and that he performed my hip replacement at Novato Community Hospital. The entire experience exceeded my expectations. Four months post-op and I am happily hiking the hills again!
I can not name a better, kinder, more thorough clinician than Dr. Mayle. He has performed a total hip and total knee replacement on me and I am better than ever. I can run again - I did the PT he suggested and had NO ISSUES with his post-surgery. No pain, no after effects of general anesthesia since he did these surgeries with a spinal and local.
