RecommendedMy son loves characters, and pictures so as soon as we walked in he seen the Halloween decor and was really excited!. The dr was very nice and helped my son alot on his first experience. My son is bery stubborn and walked in saying no teeth lol & changed quickly to allow the dr to do his thing ( with minimal fighting) haha all and all great place especially for a first timer!
10/10 recommend! Truly amazing staff and doctor. Such a clean and friendly environment! My daughter is usually very shy with strangers and I couldn’t believe how comfortable she was and she left happy as can be! Thanks for a great first introduction to the dentist! Keep up the great work, I’ve already told all my friends to take their kids there!!
Dr. rooney and his staff are absolutely amazing. all my kids, as young as 2 do so well with them. he's super patient and just has a mannerism that keeps the kids engaged and calm ... when when the 5 yo had to get a cavity filled!!
Got this recommendation from our Autism Support group NJAW. Have to say I was highly impressed how well the staff connected with my son. My son is diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. Dr. Rooney was amazing. He was loving yet stern. He explained to my son in detailed everything he was doing and what instruments he was using. I’m so happy we ended up here.
The doctor and staff are all kind and understanding of fear. Dr. Rooney explains everything he does in kid-friendly terms before each step of the appointment. My daughter is happy about going back!
I am usually leery about a place with ALL 5 star reviews, but this practice definitely deserves ALL 5 stars in ALL reviews... My 5 year old is on the spectrum and has major anxiety when it comes to the dentist. Dr. Rooney and his staff are a God’s send - they are very empathetic, patient, and kind! I am so glad I found this pediatric dentistry office. First off, it is located conveniently near my home within minutes. Secondly, the staff and Dr. Rooney are very caring, kind, patient and thorough. My daughter had a bit of a meltdown when it was for x-rays, but the staff and Dr. Rooney calmed her down as best they could and I appreciated that they talked to her on her level and she felt really cared for, as did I and my husband. Dr. Rooney and his staff are amazing. I have an 8 year old who suffers from anxiety and Dr. Rooney was kind, patient and caring with him and he now loves going to the dentist. I also have a two year old with a severe speech delay who needed his first cleaning and Dr. Rooney was fantastic with him and sang to him and was able to complete his cleaning. I cannot recommend Dr. Rooney and his practice enough.
