We booked with Roar for our company away day, the team were incredible- facilitated everything we needed and were super accommodating to everything. Whether that was mobility difficulty, speeding off with a member of the group who needed to get a train or explaining the best way to knock somebody off their board. Would highly recommend!

Had a wonderful experience at Roar Outdoor – Depdune Wharf. I booked a 1–2 kayak hire online and was greeted at the location by the wonderful team (Olie and Lucas). They gave me clear instructions, plenty of confidence, and all the necessary gear — even a waterproof pouch for my phone. As a novice, this made all the difference. I spent an hour kayaking on the river, going both upstream and downstream, and practicing different ways to handle the kayak. It was fun, safe, and an experience I really enjoyed. Rented two kayaks on two occasions at Godalming and Guildford with two adults and an eight year old child, and at Godlaming also who joined us on the kayak. On both occasions very satisfied. Great boats and very friendly staff with good instructions. Beautiful scenery.
