What a lovely find. Beautiful establishment, everything from the external presentation to the comfort of the rooms. OMG the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in! Super friendly host, space for motorbike parking at the rear for safety and helpful in terms of local amenities etc. Topped off with a lovely freshly cooked breakfast, what’s not to like.

Charlie is second to none as a host, makes you feel extremely welcome, he even went so far as to recommend routes for our drive and scenery that we must see. The breakfast was very tasty and varied and the bed comfortable with a super shower. Would definitely come back.
Clean and a decent sized room with great pressure in the shower! Perfect breakfast with the best black pudding!
I don't enjoy giving bad reviews, however we really didn't have a great experience. The man working reception came across as unwelcoming, the beds are stiff, the walls are criminally thin and the décor is old-school. The breakfast buffet is lackluster offering juice, yoghurts and Go Ahead bars. The cooked breakfast is mediocre at best (look how that bacon is cooked in the photo 😬) and the service staff seem more interested in chatting with each other than serving the guests.
