RecommendedMy 20 month old nephew got his pinky finger shut in a bathroom door by his 4 yr old sister while visiting their uncle's. This cut his finger off only left hanging by a small piece of skin. Broke bone & this was between his nail & first knuckle. Again this was his little finger. He was taken to the local hospital where they transferred him to Riley's. The doctors and nurses and respiratory therapist everyone working with my daughter in the nicu has been great
The doctors and nursing staff are amazing. On December 29th 2016 my nephew was flown there for a brain aneurysm. He was brain dead. Of course their are two tests that have to be done to be declared brain dead. They are done 12 hours apart. I wasn't there for the first test but was there for the second time. The doctor who performed the test was amazing. She told us step by step everything she was doing. Sadly he was pronounced brain dead. The nursing staff was right there by our sides. I just wanted to share my heart felt thank you to the staff at Riley’s today. Today our daughter fell at school and broke her arm. My husband took her to IU North as it was the closest to her school and the Riley staff at the ER was amazing. They got her set up for a transfer to downtown to her her arm set and into a cast. When we arrived at Riley’s, as soon as we walked into the ER registration they knew who we were and got us admitted very quickly. We were recently transferred to Riley for my son, who broke both bones in his lower left arm. I have to say the nurses, doctors, and staff that treated my son were amazing!! They put my son's pain and treatment as a high priority!! My son even said he loved the hospital!! I recommend Riley Children's Health for any child's needs!

Riley's saved my baby girls life. We got transferred from South bend 12/30/19 she immediately needed surgery when we got to Riley's.. she got NEC so they had to go in and remove the dead intestines (15 cm) when they got done she needed and ostomy bag. She had that until March 13th, 2020. But when we got here in December, my baby came at 2 pounds 2 oz and she is now 6 pounds 5 oz. she had surgery to reconnect her stoma back to he rectum and they done an amazing job! this hospital saved my Hailee!! thank you Riley's!! ❤️❤️
There isn’t a better hospital in Indiana! We love Riley!!
