Best in Austin works here!!! – Every artist that works at Resurrection has a different style to accommodate anyone's tastes. They are nice and friendly with no egocentric attitude. I love the newly remodeled clean space!! And, a documentary is being filmed there on cancer recovery and tattoo! Book early as this is a very busy shop with lots of talented artists featured in magazines and The Chronicle!!!!
Tina is a Mermaid – Over the past 15 years I have been tattooed by Tina, from her beginning in Florida to flying to DC and Austin for her amazing talents. She is an amazing and innovative artist who is really concerned about your satisfaction and asks for you to return to check out the healed product. She is also a pretty mermaid. Karen Slafter rocks Resurrection! – THANK GOD for Karen Slafter. I found her after a less than thrilling session (gross understatement) at Southside Tattoo. Some guy there (who I'm sure meant well) managed to talk me into exactly what I DIDN'T want going in. Pure Artistry – I recently visited Austin for a few days and made sure in my short time there that I had an appointment at Resurrection Tattoos. Karen's artistry made my idea a reality as she expanded on my concept design to create a tattoo that I'll be showing off for a long time. Best Tattoo Shop I've Seen – I don't think I've ever been to a cleaner or friendly place before. Not only are the Artists good at what they do, I mean REALLY good, but the enviroment is exceptional. The Ultimate Tatto Experience – I'm a collector of sorts of tattoos and truly appreciate the artwork and the tatto exprience. Through all of my travels I have been in well over 500 tattoo shops both in the US and abroad and Resurrection is one of the nicest shops that I have been in!
