Hotel was in a lovely location by the harbour although some bedrooms had no view of this and could do with updating. Reception staff not too friendly or inviting. Entertainment and bar staff were really good. Food was good, altogether very basic and portions not very big. Some of the deserts being the best on the menu. A 7 day stay in October with a group of 34. Cannot speak too highly of the team looking after us. The hotel was clean, menu choices good when chef specials added. This was probably one of the " happiest " holidays our group has been on.
Rooms need new wallpaper & wardrobe. And has a damp patch on the ceiling(which has dried out,just a stain) But brilliant service with the waitresses & everyone so nice....but the manager can be nice....to the selected ones,when he wants to be.
