Nice area within walking distance to a few essential things that was needed. Cheap UBER ride to SOUTH BEACH.
We waited on the airport shuttle to pick us up for over an hour. We called three times and no one helped, they just said, 'The shuttle runs every 30 minutes.' Upon arrival, there was no apology, no friendly customer service, just making excuses and telling us we would have to file a complaint with the manager when he is in tomorrow. We fly out before then, so that can't happen. Bad experience.
I stayed at Regency Hotel Miami on the occasion of Readers Favorite award ceremony as an award-winning author. Loved hanging in the bar and restaurant with fellow award-winning authors. Didn't wait too long for my orders at the restaurant and the food was good. Enjoyed the pool too. Very cozy atmosphere. Hotel staff was helpful, smiling and friendly. Hotel has good facilities for meetings and events. Bathroom was old and small. Cleaning personal didn't know even a word in English, spoke Spanish only. Anyway had a great time ... read more
Located next to two great restaurants is a small paradise. Friendly staff, nicely designed lobby and rooms with balconies you can actually use. This hotel has workout rooms, pool, bar and morning breakfast nook. I will have this on my list of must stay again.
