Refuge is such a unique experience. I haven't found another place like it in the Bay Area. I love the fresh detoxed feeling I get when I leave. The Eucalyptus Steam room and the warm pools are my favorite. The last time I went I took my Mom and sisters they all had a fabulous time. I had a massage with Robin, he was a very knowledgeable and gentle massage therapist. Thank you Refuge for another amazing visit.
Absolutely amazing! My girlfriends and I came for our birthdays and will definitely be back! We had a delicious lunch beforehand at the athletic club cafe, and then experienced the thermal cycle a couple of times prior to our massages. Premium admission with robe rental and water bottle is included with a massage reservation and is completely worth it!

Refuge is awesome. The ambiance is perfect. The price has gone up but still worth it to me. I went today during Memorial Day and there was a wait which I get but communication from the staff was not consistent. One person told me an hour and a half. Another said an hour. And another said they couldn’t give a time. I ended up waiting an hour. The fire pits can also use more maintenance as they needed to be relit.
