Specialties Refuge is America's first co-ed outdoor relaxation spa and an award-winning hydrothermal facility located in Carmel, California. Our serene and silent 2-acre property features a Himalayan salt wall sauna, eucalyptus steam rooms, cold plunge pools, hot pools with waterfalls, and breathtaking views. You must be 18 years or older to visit. Swimsuits are required. Daily Hours: 10:00 am to 10:00 pm PST. Last entry is 8:30 pm PST.

Most awesome relax spot! And if you get a massage ask for Diane she was amazing! Best massage i ever had. We will continue ro visit refuge.
My Husband and I were recommended to Refuge thanks to Barbara at Mission Ranch. Reception helped us pick an evening time slot for massages. We arrived a little early and were greeted wonderfully by reception team. After changing in to robes and dropping off phones, we relaxed while waiting for our masseuses. I really enjoy it. It's a relaxed atmosphere with folks from young to old, short to tall, ant thin to well, me...Been there twice and it's a great concept....I've been thinking about how I can create this in my backyard...We went at night and closed the place down. Night is definitely a different feel.I like it a bit better.
Spent the entire day yesterday with my Best Friend with a massage and lots of pooltime!!! Sauna and steam room! Feel like a Million $$$$$$!
I loved our day at Refuge...Beautiful surroundings, great pools and treatments, but most of all, I enjoyed the quiet and just truly relaxing.
It was one of the most peaceful places I have ever been to. Loved the cold plunge pools after using the steam room
