Specialties Refuge is America's first co-ed outdoor relaxation spa and an award-winning hydrothermal facility located in Carmel, California. Our serene and silent 2-acre property features a Himalayan salt wall sauna, eucalyptus steam rooms, cold plunge pools, hot pools with waterfalls, and breathtaking views. You must be 18 years or older to visit. Swimsuits are required. Daily Hours: 10:00 am to 10:00 pm PST. Last entry is 8:30 pm PST.

Had the opportunity to spend half of a day here. Called first after reading yelp feedback. Was given updated and very helpful instructions. Utilized the dry and wet sauna's, the ice cold plunges, the fire pits and hot tubs. Had a fabulous hour long deep tissue massage. Very relaxing and healthy way to end a beautiful trip to the coast. Will defiantly put their brochures out in the vacation homes I manage in the Pacific Grove/ Pebble beach areas.
Wonderful way to spend the day! I'm local and this is the place to go to get away from stress. You leave a different person. Somehow soaking and silence renew the body and mind.
Sydney is awesome!!! Ask for her!!!! Loved my evening... Sad we don't have one in Bama!
Excellent service, beautiful relaxing place. I got a wonderful massage and can't wait to be back.
