Went for an evening meal. Good menu selection, competitively priced. Good selection of ciders and lagers. We had spring rolls and prawn and crab for starters, both delightful. The main courses were very good. The steak was tasty and cooked well. We also enjoyed the Baileys creme brulees. We had to chase a drinks order and noone came to take our dessert order. But we had a very enjoyable evening.
I visited with two friends for lunch and we had a great time. The staff were excellent and attentive. The food was tasty and well presented, and priced as expected for 2025 at £40 each for two courses and a drink. The inn itself has plenty of parking and a spacious interior. This is somewhere I plan to come back to again.

We revisited the red lion after many years to find it was as welcoming and friendly as we remembered. Very good food, excellent accomodation and great atmosphere. Well done chaps.
