This place came up as my holiday cottage on Google maps but it's actually called Hawthorne Cottage. We had a lovely stay here in beautiful Cotherstone.
Great cottage. Been a few times now with family. That said it's kitchen is showing its age now and needs some TLC. Great walks around the cottage. River walk from cottage to Barnard Castle or a 2.5 mile walk to nxt village along the Old railway track behind The Red Lion.
What a wonderful stay we had. Perfect in every way. Pub next door. Nice walks. Dog friendly cottage.
