I received a letter from RPM stating that I owed Direct TV $436.00. I made the payment through RPM. 5 months later I go into AT&T to add two phones to my account the representative informs me that I still owe Direct TV $109.20. I called RPM and they said they did not understand why all of the payments was sent to Direct TV. Contacted Direct TV and they informed me that 3 payments was made to the account only to make the account current and they payments came in through a third party. RPM is a scam. I could have made payments... read more
Customer service rep would not let me talk and was extremely rude and would not let me speak.. She kept expressing HER assumptions about the so-called outstanding bill and that was a reasonable amount to pay. I tried to tell her that this reasonable amount was too much because I don't owe this debt, whatsoever. I tried to interject but she would not let me talk. she kept talking faster and louder and telling me to be quiet. She eventually hung up on me because she refused to listen to one word I had to say. Needless to say, ... read more
They called me twice within 4 hours so I answered the second call. They asked for my husband, and I asked why and they hung up on me. I called back 5 times in an attempt to see why they were trying to contact my husband. Times 1 and 2 I asked why they were calling my number for my husband and they hung up. I called a 3rd time and asked to speak to a manager. I was transferred and asked what this company does and the manager hung up on me. I called a 4th time and asked for someone to please help, I simply wanted to know what ... read more
I found their customer service and attitude atrocious. They refused to answer most of my questions, rattling off information faster than I could write down and refusing some of the time to repeat themselves, and proceeded to try and charge me at the end of the conversation. These people are a borderline scam.
I wouldn't even give this company 1 star. I was offered a settlement with this company and paid $523.30 on 6-4-2018. They agreed to mark my balance as $0 and the collections account had been satisfied. Less than two weeks later I looked at my credit report and the company reported what as suppose to be a settlement as a payment to the balance owed and that I owed them additional money. I contacted Receivables Performance Management regarding this and spoke with a very nice lady who said it had been indeed reported wrong and ... read more
This company makes it apparent right off the bat that they're just trying to collect on the debt and that it's nothing personal. I tried to make it personal, but they just guided me and verbally hugged me through the process. Really, I couldn’t be mad at them. They treat you like a human being and they'll work with you to arrive at a monthly payment that works for you. They were really agreeable, friendly and professional.
Received a call from an agent named Alex. I explained to him that I was at work and heading into meeting, that I would take down his number and call back. I asked for the number. He was extremely rude and stated I should have it on my caller ID. I told him I didn't and that's why I was asking. He then continues to tell me why he's calling and I reiterate that I cannot talk. He continued to be rude and when I called him out on it he yelled "you should pay your bills." He continues to be super rude, unprofessional and nasty. A... read more
Receivables Performance Management seems like a company that never loses sight of the human element in what they do. They always treat you like a person and they never pass judgment on how you got into the situation you’re in -- that you've been taken to collections. Of course they want to collect on the debt, but they work with you to make it reasonable and realistic for you to pay it off in terms that work for you.
I had a debt that went into collections and I was able to settle with Receivables Performance Management at a lower rate which helped me out a lot. They're willing to work with you, especially if you want to pay off quickly. They can also work with you for a prolonged period if you can only make minimum payments. You don't ever want to have to deal with being in collections, but if you ever do, I hope you get to deal with this company.
