Dr. Sheppard was extremely knowledgable and well prepared for my visit by reviewing previous CT scans to accurately diagnose my issue. Very personable and thorough. All the staff were friendly and accommodating .
Follow up on laparoscopic hernia repair with mesh. Determination that small bump was scaring and not a concern.
Courteous, professional, and thorough treatment by Dr. Sheppard and entire staff. Highly recommended.

I think Dr. Shepherd should be rated one of the Top Surgeons in Alabama. He always acts in a professional manner but is so caring while showing his patients total respect. I’ve seen Dr. Shepherd 3x in his office and he operated on me. He is so personable and kind and goes over EVERYTHING.. I’ve had a lot of surgery and most Dr’s before surgery stop by for maybe a minute and ask if you have any questions and leave. Dr. Shepherd stopped by, ask if I had questions or concerns..made me really feel relaxed and that he cared.He then ask if he could say a prayer.
