Good Doctor, Good Man!
I've been a nurse for 20 years so I've seen a variety of different skills and bedside manners. He took what should have been a major surgery & made it an office procedure. Dr. Sheppard went out of his way to ease stress, calm nerves with humor after we had all been talking which is priceless in my opinion. Very through examination. Helpful information about other areas of my health besides what I came in for.
Came into the hospital with appendicitis.? Met Dr Sheppard just prior to surgery. He was very nice and explained everything to me. He prayed with me. I felt safe with him performing my surgery.

I can't recommend Dr. Sheppard highly enough. I was referred to him for inguinal hernia repair in Aug 2021. I was impressed with both him and the office staff during the initial consultation. Everyone was courteous and friendly, and I did not feel rushed at all. He explained the options and details for repair of my hernia and the recovery times for the different procedures. I have a hernia that needs to be repaired. Dr. Sheppard took the time to explain that I needed to lose some weight before he could do the repair. I was impressed with his honesty and professionalism.
