rex I appreciate the "heads up" and was prepared and pre-warned. So, of course, had no problem. Jess was the plumber; he was professional and thorough. I was little hacked that it took five days for an appt. Thank you all for your postings...if helps.
These guys are great -- prompt, professional & reasonably priced!
JUST HORRIBLE!!! Let me start by saying that I have never taken the time to post a review on any of these sites but this company was so inept and unresponsive I simply had to let the world know to NEVER use them for anything! The only reason we had to use them was because our home warranty company American Home Shield said we had to. Well we are changing home warranty companies, also. We had a hot water heater issue where the pilot light wouldn't stay lit. After two unsuccessful attempts at solving the problem, we scheduled ... read more
TERRIBLE - Will NEVER use again Company was sent to my house by my home warranty company. Plumber came the 1st time and didnt even check into the water heater, which was putting out rust galore. Checked water on initial visit and said nothing was wrong - only ran water for short period of time. After he left the water turned brown again. Warranty company sent "Ray" out again and the plumber tried to tell my husband our copper pipe was rusting and that was causing the problem (copper does not rust!). Plumber changed out "brok... read more
Crooked Practices. Do Not Use The only reason Ray Stovall got inside of my house was because they had to provide a second opinion and were sent out by my home warranty company. Because I'd had previous horrible experience with them (both office staff and field techs) I put them on my "do not send" list. Anyway, the guy came out, left my bathroom in worse condition than when he arrived, and tried to swindle me into paying a service fee. I knew he was lying because the amount he quoted wasn't even the amount of the service fee... read more
Would Not Recommend I had to use Ray Stovall Plumbing because that is who my home warranty must have a contract with. The technician was very helpful, professional, and timely. I had a lot of trouble with the office staff and scheduling. Also, I did not like the fact that they changed my credit card the day before they came out to repair the broken pipe. Overall, I would not recommend this company due to the rude office personnel regarding scheduling and charging me before repairs were done. However, the technician was very ... read more
DO NOT USE STOVALL PLUMBING If I could rate negative stars I would. I had to use Ray Stovall Plumbing because that is who American Home Shield is contracted with. First of all they charge for a permit and inspection. Both of which was not needed for the work I had done. I asked the so called plumber for a copy of the permit. He said I will have to call the office. Kind of fishy that the person doing the work didn't bring the permit to the job site. So I called the permit office and I was told that no permit was need for the ... read more
Home Owner I was put in touch with this company through American Home Shield. The so called plumber that showed up trouble shot the problem by steping out of his truck, indicated that the septic system needed to be pumped out. Then gave me a quote for $1700 to install 4 clean outs. Then if that was not enough, when ask if he could even do the job he said he had his show to watch this evening and could not miss it. Then had the balls to ask for his $75 call out fee. I called a real plumber the next morning, he came out prompl... read more
