TERRIBLE - Will NEVER use again Company was sent to my house by my home warranty company. Plumber came the 1st time and didnt even check into the water heater, which was putting out rust galore. Checked water on initial visit and said nothing was wrong - only ran water for short period of time. After he left the water turned brown again. Warranty company sent "Ray" out again and the plumber tried to tell my husband our copper pipe was rusting and that was causing the problem (copper does not rust!). Barbara I think most of you who wrote bad reviews are just disgruntled. I used Ray Stovall plumbing through American Home Shield warranty company, and I thought they were great. The office staff is friendly and helpful and the technician was friendly and knowledgeable. They did extra work for me that AHS wasn't going to pay for at a fraction of the cost of other plumbers. They charge you 85.00 to do the estimate but if you have them do the work they subtract the 85 from your bill at the end. Definitely worth every penny, my ... read more
WOW I have American Home Shield for all my 5 of my renter homes. American Home Shield sent Ray Stovall Plumbing to come out. They were nice and knew exactly what was wrong every time they have come out. I had to Get a new water heater installed and before i let them do it i called around to get prices it would have cost me 1100.00 to get someone else to do it they charged me only 350.00 WOW who does that now in this economy they actual saved me money. Crooked Practices. Do Not Use The only reason Ray Stovall got inside of my house was because they had to provide a second opinion and were sent out by my home warranty company. Because I'd had previous horrible experience with them (both office staff and field techs) I put them on my "do not send" list. Anyway, the guy came out, left my bathroom in worse condition than when he arrived, and tried to swindle me into paying a service fee. rex I appreciate the "heads up" and was prepared and pre-warned. So, of course, had no problem. Jess was the plumber; he was professional and thorough. I was little hacked that it took five days for an appt. Thank you all for your postings...if helps.
This review is for a property we own in Covington, LA. Our service was through the home warranty company. The office manager, Briana, at Ray Stovall was super responsive and very nice. The plumber (I cannot remember his name, unfortunately) came the day after the warranty service call and did an excellent job. Timely and professional service! I would definitely recommend Ray Stovall Plumbing.
Ross was my plumber, and he was the nicest, most professional, and most knowledgeable person.

I live in the French Quater and as those who live in this area its important to have someone who understands and delivers according to the rules and codes of the FQ. Ray not only changed my water heater, but he also improved and moved the location to give me extra space on my tiny attic for storage!
