best sushi – I must say, it seems lately that alot of the new restaurants opening in Philly are these million-dollar, flashy, trendy "cool" spots with alot of eye candy but no substance to back it up when it comes to the actual food. So with a bit of hesitation, I decided to check this sushi place out and I must say, I was WOWED! The sushi is amazing. Try any of their specialty rolls like Trifena or White Tiger. Raw but not fresh! – Sushi is my absolute favorite meal to purchase out. I have my favorite sushi restaurant but thought I'd try to "broaden my horizons". Came here with friends, we loved the environment but were very disappointed with the meal. Warm sushi. Not satisfying at all.
Awesome! – My husband and I consider ourselves pretty adventurous eaters but have always been a little leary of sushi. Then we were introduced to Raw. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. You will be telling your friends all about it! – RAW is one of those places you can't wait to tell other poeple about. There is nothing "average" about it. From the eye opening upstairs to the very cool downstairs, you almost forget you're there to eat--but when you do, you will keep coming back for more. Good eats!

Great Sushi, Great Sake, Great Environment – I had my first Sushi experience at RAW, and I must say, it's been hard to find another Sushi place that even comes close. The environment is warm and welcoming, and the Sushi quality is decadent. This is the place to be for Sushi!
Cool bar and warm sake – Excellent food and service in a tight city atmosphere. Can easily become the next "IT" bar if Philly can get past its unholy obsession with cheesesteaks. Hidden in plain sight in the heart of downtown You have to know where it is; but that keeps morons to a minimum. Xlnt spot after work if you're downtown. Go for the Sushi, then stay for the Sake – Excellent decor and atmosphere to kick back and relax with some friends or to celebrate a special occasion with someone special. The waiting staff is warm and very knowledgeable about the menu items and made some excellent recommendations for me and my friends.
