We didn’t stay at this hotel but had dinner here. Main course and soup was delicious, very tasty and nicely presented. We had mango sorbet for pudding which was tasteless and fluorescent yellow and a creme brulée which has a very weird texture. Service was a bit slow and it was difficult to get anyones attention.

The hotel sells itself as dog friendly. If you bring a dog along you will love this hotel. If you don't like dogs then probably best to go elsewhere.

Really lovely, cosy hotel. Good facilities, very dog-friendly, ample parking, good signage, staff were mostly lovely and accommodating, the best hotel breakfast we've had, really excellent selection of breakfast items to order and on their self-service breakfast bar. The only thing that lets it down is it's just so expensive - our room was really expensive for what it was, and the food menu is definitely on the upper end, although did look lovely!

Would have given 5 star for room if there had been good coffee. Also at breakfast no outstanding coffee even though the food was amazing. The dinner we had was one of the best we've ever had. The location is stunning. Some of the staff were grumpy at breakfast time but maybe because it's peak season and very busy for them.
