I believe this is the best hospital in this region. The workers are pleasant & professional & they make people feel comfortable & keep them informed of tests needed or any aspect of their care so that the patient can make decisions on what they want done. Patients have a say in the care they get & the doctors are very professional & thorough in caring for their patients. Kudos to You Rapides Regional Medical Center.
My daughter had surgery at the day surgery and was treated very well. We arrived at 6 and left at 1:30. Everyone was so nice and helpful.
Had a very pleasant experience overall in E.R. and on 6A. Nurses on 6A are excellent!
My daughter received excellent care during this hospital stay. Everyone was so nice and did an awesome job caring for my child. Our only complain would be the food it was horrible!
I was there last night with shortness of breath . They took me straight back. EKG first and blood work. Steroid injection and breathing treatment immediately. I was treated kind and respected even though they were running back and forth with all the ambulances coming in . They had 2 cardtic arrests. I wasn't there long . My Dr was wonderful and so was all the staff. Thanks I'm feeling much better today.
The docters and nurses were very concern about my medical needs and the very nice and friendly
after two hours of pushing my nieces dr decided to do a c section. They baby was 8 lb 8 oz. those two hours were not necessary when she went in that morning the dr figured the baby was around 8 lb. he should have never made her push for two hours he saw her size. I know they don't break as easy as we think but the nurse that was getting her ready to bring to her mom after over 4 hours of not seeing her, picked her up and just slung her on her shoulder with not support of her head and to me just handled her to rough.
