Dr is great. Office staff is world class.
Dr Troup diagnosed issue, had a plan, and was correct in his thought, and the issue is resolved for now. When it returns, I'll be checking back with him first.
Everyone in the office is great. Just needed another shot but his PA listened to my concerns and questions and we have a plan!

Dr Troop performed surgery on both rotator cuffs over a period of 7 years. He is extremely patient to listen, explain and discuss treatment options. Each office visit, his attention to my recovery progress assured me his surgical work and my recovery were important to him. His scheduled appointments run very close to on time, every time! Lastly, his medical support staff model his approach to patient well-being.
Came here for a knee injury and was told there wasn't anything wrong other than bone bruising and a grade 1 sprain. After 3 months of still being swollen and in pain, doing PT, etc, all he did was give me a shot and said "that's all I am going to do at this point." I saw another doctor an he immediately told me what and where the problem was, took him under 15min. I find it odd that a 40yr+ doc refused and overlooked my symptoms, wasted 3 months. Dr. Troop and the whole staff at Plano orthopedic & sports medicine are amazing people. They all want to help you with all you’re there for. Mine was shoulder repair surgery and with no regret going to Dr. Troop’s Group for this care. Thank you to all that have been involved with my pre-op & post-op & Follow Ups during this time. If and when needed I will return to the Plano Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center.
I don’t like doctors and fired everyone I have ever had except for one. So when I say I was extremely impressed with Dr. Troop and his staff, I hope it means something. The whole setup was a military operation and everyone we encountered was polite, smart and efficient.
Dr. Troop and the entire team at Plano Orthopedic are experts in their field. I was able to get a same day appointment, with x-rays and a sound diagnosis. I had surgery 5 days ago and there have been no surprises. Dr. Troop prayed with me before surgery and asked God to use his hands to bring healing to my injured shoulder.
