I've had great experiences with Dr. Calis and with his staff. His assistant Matt is very personable and genuine and easy to talk to. Dr. Calis is the same way - very easy to talk to and understand. He speaks in terms non-medical people can understand and always explains everything clearly. He never seems like he's in a hurry and he gave me as much time as I needed to understand my situation and answer all of my questions. I definitely recommend Dr. Calis. Very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable.
I hit my toe on a table a while back and it caused an ingrown toenail. I had to have the nail removed due to infection. I expected it to hurt a lot, as I'd had something similar done before by another doctor, but the procedure was quick and painless. I would recommend Dr. Calis to anyone else who has to undergo something similar to me.
Would definitely continue to recommend to friends. Have already referred two friends. Thorough and a great physician. Spends time talking to you and listens to your problem. Understands insurance and the financial side of healthcare with is rare to find in a physician this day and time.
Dr. Calis is a good podiatrist, but the office is a nightmare. Always running behind, disorganized and inefficient. On 2 occasions, I have gone to his office to simply get new orthotics and they couldn't find my charts, records etc... Emory should be able to do better than this - the waiting room looks like it was done in the 80's. Get rid of that stupid fish tank.
I have never experienced such a down to earth, friendly and outstanding doctor in my 68 years. Dr. Calis was amazing and very thorough. We love him.
Absolutely terrible!!! He and his assistant have absolutely no regard for your time. Every appointment is filled with waiting for hours. Once put in a room and waited while the doctors chatted in the hall for almost a half hour. I would definitely NOT recommend this Dr. for being so unprofessional.
Dr Calis was suggested to me by my PCP at Emory Sugarloaf. He seemed fine and the assistant with him (Matt) was great also.
Service was great, lots of good help in the office. Saw the staff and doctor almost immediately upon arrival. Excellent Service.
