I was referred to Dr. Calis due to an intermittent pain arising in the instep at the top of my right foot. After careful examination of both of my feet he felt that it was probably arthritis. (I already have a right hand that was almost crippled and very painful until treated by another EMORY physician.) The x-rays showed active arthritic damage in the joints of my foot. Very friendly and reassuring visit. Fully explained what he was going to do in terms of treatment and level of steps needed to get my pain alleviated.
Dr. Calis was so helpful and took the time to research all his recommendations and where to find each item recommended. His expertise was refreshing and professionalism outstanding. I appreciated his advice to optimize all my options.
Im very happy with Dr. Calis and his staff very professional and customer service was remarkable. Dr. Calis was honest very down to earth but gave me relief of the pain I was experiencing daily.
Dr. Calis was great. I had been dealing with a sore toe for the better part of two years. After two years of frustration with other doctors, Dr. Calis was able to provide immediate relief. He took time to explain everything to me and has a wonderful approach in dealing with patients.

I developed an infection in my big toe and used the Emory patient portal to send pictures to my primary doctor who ordered a cream and antibiotics. I found Dr. Calis and emailed the same pictures to his staff for review. I received an appointment that was a week and a half out, they reviewed my pictures his staff called back within two hours to make sure I had a prescription before the visit. I was very impressed with their skill and compassion. I would fully recommend Dr. Calis and his team.
He was very nice and allowed me to have an opinion on his treatment methods. He was also very patient when it came to making a decision.
Highly recommend. Explained procedure in detail beforehand and had no problems. The whole staff was great!
