I definitely would recommend Dr. Calis. I found him to be particularly good at listening to my problem. I had seen several providers in the past for the same problem and he was the only person who really listened and tried to address the specific issue I was having.
When I met Dr. Calis, I was in terrible pain and couldn't put my heel down to walk. I'd been misdiagnosed, made ill by drugs, told that I'd need a painful surgery, and even dismissed as "too difficult". Dr. Calis instantly and correctly diagnosed me, and has supported every stage of my recovery. He's very patient, thorough, kind, humorous, and intelligent. He has saved me from a crippling injury without surgery and/or drugs. He never gives up. I don't know how I got so lucky.
Second Opinion Dr. I was very impressed by the level of care I received by being a new patient to Dr. Calis. His staff was wonderful too, besides all vitals and medical information taken down. Dr. Calis examined and reviewed my X-Rays and MRI's that still showed that I had fractures in my foot. He actually took the time to explain and show me on my films just what was going on and what I needed to do. I left feeling good that I was going to get my foot healed from this physician.
We visited Dr. Calis when my daughter broke her foot, she was so upset that she wasn't going to be able to play gymnastics for a while. Dr. Calis was very sensitive to her feelings, he joked around with her and made her smile...by the time we left his office, she was feeling much better. Dr. Calis was very attentive, he explained what was going on with my daughter's foot, and how long to expect for it to heal. I appreciated the prompt and friendly service, and the fact that we weren't rushed.
Dr Cali's listens! Bedside manner is calm and precise. I had many questions which were addressed. Never felt rushed.
I found Dr. Calis very caring and personable. He spent a lot of time answering my questions and was very knowledgeable about how to treat my broken foot.
Dr Calis was the third podiatrist I saw about my ingrown toenail surgery that was completed 3 months ago and had not healed. He took the time to explain options to me and to thoroughly clean the site. During cleaning, he discovered a piece of toenail that likely was preventing healing. I'm very glad that I now know what was causing the problem and am on the road to recovery.

Dr. Calis listened to every concern I had. I felt he was not only well qualified but paying attention to my needs. He has been honest and straightforward which quite honestly is refreshing. I would highly recommend him to anyone knowing on several occasions he has gone beyond what I had experienced with other doctors.
