Love RDU. Security is always a breeze. Terminal 2 is easy to maneuver. Terminal 1- though brand new, was a little close quarters for my liking. Parking is easy breezy. Everyone is friendly. Also! The observation deck is a real treat. I love spending my time here.
I enjoyed having this airport here in Raleigh-Durham international airport ! Sometime you can find a good rate on airplane ticket online ! A lot of airlines dont have rooming seat for your body fix nice and easy or someone fix right smack up against your body ! Some airline dont care , but other do care ! That what bring them back to the flight they had last being ! I be coming back soon this year in august evening flight ! Thank you. RDU AIRPORT international !
I flew out of RDU for my first flying experience and I was very pleased. I got in, got my bagged checked, ticket printed, & through security in about 30 minutes. Everyone was telling me it'd be an hr or more. I was so pleased with the crew on the United planes as well. I loved RDU, beautiful airport, friendly people, & very clean! One the way home my luggage was late and they were fast & friendly about getting it devilered to my house since i live an hr and half away! I loved my first experience! The USO is fabulous, it is ran by local volunteers mostly elderly/ not all x-Military.. They thank every Soldier for their Service, in reality we should be thanking them for their Support!!!!! Cause they make me feel after 24-t years proud to be a Soldier!!!!! If your traveling through and you can make sure you visit the NC/ RDU, USO!!! Thanks for the Hospitality!!!!!!!!!time to rollout ROK, here I come...
Traveled through in January. It was a beautiful facility and the guest service agent was very helpful when my hotel wasn't picking up so I could request the shuttle. Looking forward to flying in next year!
I thought RDU was so much easier, convenient and stress free when connecting from Hartford to Fort Lauderdale. Nice airport layout, but the only thing is I wish there was more to eat at 9am. Barely anything was open and had to resort to Bruegger's Bagels which was not great and very expensive for just a BLT and yogurt parfait. I'd love to see something that offers more tasty options for food whether its fast food, or whatever but something that serves breakfast foods.
