It's my home airport and has lots of updates. Lots of flights to choose from to whatever destinations you are traveling to. Easy parking low rates with shuttles.

Had a connecting flight at #rdu today and my bag never made it onto my flight, despite the 11 hour layover. Now no one can find it for sure, though I'm told it might be coming to me in MIA by way of CLT and ALB. Albany?? Really?! Is there not a winter storm going on? The AA assistants I spoke to hold no hope for it making my flight to FDF today and can't even tell me where it actually is because no one really knows. As far as they can tell it's still scanned at RDU. Happy new year.

RDU blows for baggage service. Why does it take longer for my bag to get off the plan than it does for me to DRIVE home!! I live 30 minutes away...worst baggage around. If there was another choice in air travel, I'd drive to it. This airport is fundamentally garbage. #RDUremodeldidntfixissues

Baggage claim was a disaster this afternoon. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes after our flight landed for the bags from our flight to finally reach the baggage carousel. Nobody seemed to take charge of letting passengers know what was going on. After almost an hour, someone yelled out that all passengers from the DFW flight needed to go to customer service and fill out forms for our bags as they had not been put on the flight. Maybe it's because it's a holiday week, but the tsa people are kinda nasty. I walked through the scanner and of course I still needed to get a rub down. And yes my pockets were empty. The guy checked the hood of my sweatshirt but the scanner highlighted my legs, which he didn't even check. Sorry for all those tsa agents that give a damn, the ones just phoning it in can eat a dick.

RDU is one of the best airports in the country. Big enough but not too big. Lots of airline options and direct flights to most big cities . Easy affordable parking, TSA pre lines move fast, friendly staff especially in the frequent flier clubs. It's my home airport , I fly every week and enjoy RDU .

I was going to pick up my wife at the terminal when the driver in front of me stopped abruptly blocking me from getting in . Two security people came up & started yelling at me to move . Why didn't they make the driver in front of me move so I could pick up my wife . This was not the only incident I experienced with picking up someone . They act like they don't want people picking up people
