The baggage claim sucks!!! Still waiting for my bag 45 minutes after we landed (regional flight from Tampa) because they put us on same carousel with huge flights from Dallas and Chicago. Will avoid this airport next time I book a flight to NC.

Only issue we had was with paying for parking. We pre-paid and the machine wouldn't read our ticket so we could exit; therefore we had to make he guy behind us back up so we could go to the assistance booth. Of course they only had 1 assistance booth running. Other than that snafu, we had a great experience at RDU.

I have flown in and out of RDU three times. The first two times I experienced nothing that was unpleasant. Last time, however, everyone going through the screening process was subjected to verbal abuse and disrespect by two TSA agents. They barked orders and asked everyone the usual questions but in very hostile tones. Their body language seemed threatening. Southwest curbside baggage check was fantastic!!! Granted, there wasn't a lot of traffic at the time but I was greeted as I exited the car and a handler met me at the curb and moved my luggage to the counter where I was given top flight check in. TSA was efficient and fast. I went with only 4 stars as the restaurant options at the gates are too few and the free Wi-Fi was very, very slow.

I fly weekly through RDU and so far am not impressed with the new parking system. Very frustrated to have all garage lanes blocked with a cone, especially when I could see empty garage spaces while your lane sent me to overflow parking. This is the 2nd time in 3 weeks I've had this experience
