Called today to try to make an appointment for my 13 year old daughter, but was treated poorly by the receptionist on the phone, she couldn't have tried to get off the phone any faster once she told me Dr. Arakal see's patients starting at 14 years of age. Would have been nice to get a recommendation for another doctor in their group.
Dr. Arakal is the best of the best. leading up to my 360 fusion, he offered every alternative to me to avoid surgery. My back was so far gone, I didn't have a choice if I wanted a better way of life. Not one time did Dr. Arakal make me feel rushed or stupid for asking questions. He assured me and calmed me before the surgery. One week ago today I had it and called with concerns and he fit me in his schedule on his request to make sure I was ok,and I am. He is a wonderful doctor!
After an injury that caused severe low back pain and visits to other doctors, Dr. Arakal discovered I had multiple areas of severe cord compression in my thoracic spine. Dr. Arakal recommended and performed a multi-level facetectomy and fusion. I am now three weeks post-op and my low back pain is completely gone. While I am still recovering from post operative pain and recovering, I would recommend Dr. Arakal. He is compassionate and highly skilled with a great support team.
Doctor Arakal did my back surgery and I feel like he's a miracle worker!! I was to the point of couldn't walk sit stand or really function at all. Though I'm young he recommended the survey and with it came great success. I'm fully functional again and very thankful for the services I received from Dr. Arakal and his office.
Dr. Arakal was truly a God send after having two previous surgeries by another Surgeon. I ended up with Osteomyelitis, in tremendous amount of pain almost two years. After searching for a Surgeon who would operate on my Thorasic, I found Dr. Arakal, there are not enough words in the dictionary to express my gratitude to him for reparing my back and making me whole again. Dr. Arakal also has the best bedside manner of any docotor I hae ever gone to. Thank you! Sonja Vestal
