We visited Raby on a beautiful autumn day. We loved the gardens which still had lots of interest with the autumn colours and grasses. The castle was really interesting with the friendly Raby team keen to answer questions and explain the history and give information about the rooms we visited. The conservatory cafe is suberb with a great selection of excellent quality food and good service. A walk around the parkland is a must with deer, great views and countryside.
Well worth visiting during the week as much quieter than weekends. Lovely well kept grounds and castle.
Highly recommend for a wonderful day out!!
