Received a £140 parking fine five weeks after staying at this hotel, staff offered no help in having the fine overturned even though I had booked three rooms. The postion taken is that they have no control over the car parking. Be very wary

This is the worst hotel I’ve encountered in Europe. The glasses and spoons were all dirty, and the hotel is old and has never been renovated. The location is ok.

I arrived in the dark at midnight after a very tiring 6 hour journey. When in the shower I found dirty towel hanging above the bath and only realised once I was wet-yuk! The room had paint flaking off the ceiling and was not very clean either. On the Saturday night as I invited friends round for dinner- which was not available as there was no chef. Location was beautiful with a small river on the back of the land, the staff were very helpful and accommodating especially Curtis, it was a pleasant experience would recommend!!!

A beautiful hotel but I would not stay there again. The room was large, clean but too warm as according to the receptionist the air conditioning had been disconnected a year ago due to it being a fire hazard and had not been replaced. The continental breakfast was poor. Very little choice, no cheese, eggs, ham , tomatoes, cucumber etc just the basics, cereal, cheap sliced bread and warm yoghurt. The bread was moldy on two occasions during my one week stay.
