We had a lovely family holiday here. The owners made us very welcome and nice plate of scones on arrival. Eric the pig was lovely so was owners dogs Rosie and Buster. Unfortunately we did not get to see peacock Arthur as he had been bad boy as he saw his reflection in cars and attacked his reflection. Ducks, hens and baby chickens were cute and had character. Thoroughly recommend this place.
Lovely working farm, on arrival a generous plate of scones were left plus tea, milk and sugar. The chickens, ducks and roosters were NOT a problem at all, only smelly when you go near their pen, saw Eric the pig he is gorgeous and very well trained to walk to and from his pen with the owner. Lovely scenic views and walks around The beach wasn't too far, best to drive 3 min than walk 24 unless you have dogs and used to walking. Beautiful area, beautiful views from cottages and friendly chickens, ducks and peacock. Accommodation is as described and couldn't fault it. Eric the pig is a character and the peacock came up to the balcony to say hello a couple of times a day, but easily shoo'd away if not welcome.
Fully enjoyed a week's holiday staying at The Roost. Owners delightful.
