Dr. Ballard recently performed a total left hip replacement on my wife. When we initially met Dr. Ballard we were impressed with his courtesy and professional demeanor. He put us both at ease and answered all our questions and concerns. Her surgery went extremely well and she is recovering nicely. It's quite the procedure but we are so grateful Dr. Ballard performed the surgery. I have been treated multiple times by Doctor Ballard. I have made several referrals to him based on the exceptional treatment I have received. He explains my conditions well in a way that I understand without taking excessive time. He is professional and empathetic. I have received treatment from other orthopedic doctors in the past. The treatment I have received from Dr Ballard far exceeds any other.

Dr. Smalley was always friendly and listened carefully as I explained my symptoms. After surgery he explained exactly how he removed the bone spur and made necessary repairs.
Before I had my knees replaced I knew people who had the same surgery with Dr. Ballard, all with great results. Then after meeting him the first time I knew he was a surgeon I had confidence in. I appreciated and respect the fact that he is Christian and prayed with me before surgery. That was Oct 2011, 12 years ago.
