This company needs to be investigated. They should not be licensed to operate anymore. The most unprofessional uncaring company I have ever delt with, they are only in business because they offer cheap crappy apartments to un-suspecting college kids. I lived in one of their units for two years. -Significant mold in the shower and floors -The bedroom window and ceiling leaked for two years despite numerous complaints - Maintenance staff that entered the apartment “at will” (if and when they finally showed), without prior noti... read more

They are a management company – They are certainly a little better after the "new Management," but do by all means do everything and precautions to protect yourself from any loss. I will update my experience sometime later. As for rentaholic's situation: For future reference, in Rentaholic's case where they returned the check after 37 days, according to Texas law, they have acted in "bad faith" thus you can ask for 3 times the deposit fee. see Section 92.108, Property Code.

PMT ARE CROOKS! ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTICE!! – DO NOT RENT FROM PMT UNLESS YOU WANT A HEADACHE! The receptionist is a complete c*nt with lack of respect to anyone or her hair and eye liner. Messages seem to never reach the people you're intending to get ahold of. God forbid if you call for an emergency to your rented unit, took them 48 hours, 6 phone calls, and 3 trips from south austin to get someone to fix my apartment getting flooded from old piping. Took 37 days to get my whole deposit back for someone to sign a check. Gi... read more

DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID! – Like many others who have posted reviews for this company, we wish we could give them 0 stars. Never in our lives have we had the misfortune of dealing with such a terrible property management company. If you are planning to move to west campus, avoid PMT like the plague! PMT's services are unreliable and lukewarm at best. When you walk into the office, you have a 50% chance of being greeted by a friendly receptionist, and a 50% chance of not being greeted at all because the most heinou... read more

I'm astounded by this company – If there were an option for zero or negative numbers of stars then that's what I would have selected. Property Management of Texas is without a doubt, the worst management agency you can become involved with around UT. Our experience with them started out when we moved into an apartment in West Campus. Upon moving in, we realized that none of the repairs promised during the tour had been conducted. The dishwasher was broken, the carpets looked dirtier than 6th street post Saturday night, and t... read more

DON'T GET A NASTY SURPRISE - see how many one stars PMT earned see ALL opinions on Yelp (especially the filtered), Yahoo local &, City Search WHO ARE YOU DEALING WITH? see beenverified John Firnhaber, Scott R. Miller, Richelle R. Borders HOAs beware - PMT will tell you they don't want to give you financials. If you go to the office to get the information (bylaws state you can anytime), they have called the police lying that they are being threatened. Backed a ex-officer in being forgiven special assessment. Bylaws do not all... read more

They Really Care! – Everybody is really friendly at the office. It was great that somebody called to check up about maintenance work showed that you really cared about it.
