I'm sorry but if you want to die this is the place to be. Im not from Sumter , but I had really bad stomach pain came to the local hospital unfortunately this was it. I sat in the waiting room for five hours.After patiently and painfully waiting I decided to asked the nurse about the wait time she told me she was on break , and she was going outside to smoke a cigarette ! My first experience was awful!! BUT my second experience was awesome!!! I had an ER visit and was immediately taken back and attended to. The physician was really nice and called my Urologist for his suggestion due to I had a kidney stone that I hadn't been able to pass. Then, I had a procedure done by Dr. Pinto done on 6/19/17 "outpatient" and the staff were all so nice and such good bedside manner. Thank you Dr. Pinto and Toumey!
I just moved to Sumter two days ago and ended up in the ER yesterday morning, this being the the seventh time in nine months because of my gallbladder. The staff was friendly, worked quickly (I was squirming like I had labor pains), and went above and beyond the care I had been given at a previous hospital. They really listened to me when I explained how long I'd been dealing with this issue and I am thrilled to say that I am scheduled for surgery on Monday! I'm so thankful!
We work very hard to provide excellent care and a great environment!!! The workers are awesome and I enjoy working with every one of them...
Brought my son in for asthma and severe pains running through his head. I stood at the front desk for approximately 4mins while 2 staff members were talking to each other as if I was invisible....the lobby was empty..... Noone bother to acknowledge me until I said good morning to them and that I wasn't invisible. After getting in the back and waiting for an hr.
