Absolutely stunning house. History is etched into every wall and room. Thoroughly eenjoyed the tour by knowledgeble staff. Beautiful surroundings and gardens and of course the amazing deer park. Well worth a visit.
I was staying in Padstow and Prideaux Place was literally a ten minute walk away. It was a guided tour by a lovely member of the family who gave us a very interesting and informative tour around some of the main rooms. The history was fascinating and the hour went very quickly. The gardens, outbuildings and grounds are free for you to wander around at your own leisure. I did so after a delicious lunch sitting on the terrace in front of the house in glorious sunshine. We did a house tour and it was fabulous. Carol our guide made it really interesting, and each of the rooms we saw was a ‘wow’ in a different way. Beautiful house with loads of history.
