Prevent A Litter Veterinary Hospital is the first low cost, non-profit, spay/neuter clinic to open in Virginia. Since 1999, we have performed over 97,000 surgeries for cats, dogs and even rabbits! This has significantly reduced the number of homeless animals entering shelters and roaming the streets. We also provide low cost vaccines on a walk in basis for any cat or dog that has been spayed or neutered. We take pride in the high quality of our work and are looking forward to our 100,000th surgery coming up in late 2016!

They are simply the best spay/neutering service available, and at affordable prices. You can pay 3X as much at your local vet, and sometimes with less personal care!
They have always been kind and accommodating to my Jake. Great service and rates.
Had our female puppy spayed, had chip implanted, and a tooth pulled, very reasonable prices and expert care. Our 5-lb little girl was being comforted in the front office, when we went to pick her up. Thank you so much for your caring attitude.
Awesome place. They have taken care of both my dogs. I brought un a rescue puppy and they got her taken care of and explained everything she would need going forward. Highly recommend these guys
We have used PALS for several spay/neuters. Always friendly.
Everything! The kindness and service was beyond amazing.
